Tottenham Hotspur Projected XI for Liverpool on Thursday

Tottenham Attacking Players
Tottenham is going to work to get and keep three players dedicated to the attack. After making cameos against Wycombe, expect to see starts Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane in the line-up. Additionally, we know Steven Bergwijn was the last bullet that was switched to Joe Rodon following Spurs getting that lead, making the Dutchman the most likely third in attack.
Heung-Min Son (LW)
Heung-Min Son has frankly been struggling of late. Despite a nice total of 16 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season, much of that work was early in the campaign. Since the calendar struck December, Spurs have played 11 times and Son has only scored four times in those 11 matches. Of course one of those four goals was against Liverpool, so maybe this is the matchup Son needs to get his shooting boots right again.
Harry Kane (ST)
Harry Kane had a couple half chances in his 30+ minutes against Wycombe on Monday evening. That 30 minutes was just enough time to get Kane those looks, which did not produce a goal for Kane, did at least lead to the game winner from Harry Winks. With only 1 win in 12 career games against Liverpool, look for Harry Kane to try and leave his mark on this match. Note, he did have a brace in that one win back in October of 2017 4-1.
Steven Bergwijn (RW)
With five assists and no goals on the campaign, Tottenham need more from Steven Bergwijn. The Dutchman almost came through in the last Liverpool match, hitting the woodwork instead. Bergwijn works hard on the defensive end and often finds himself in good spots in the attack. Now he needs to start converting those opportunities into goals for both he and Tottenham to take that next step.
