Tottenham XI – Forwards

Tottenham Hotspur will have an entirely new attacking three from the one that lost Sunday to Leicester at home. Spurs need to find something and sometimes a new face or two at the start is how that happens. Additionally, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have carried a heavy load already this season and giving them both the day off – ideally – would be a big deal during this busy stretch.

Lucas Moura (RW)

Lucas Moura came in just a couple minutes into the second half for Giovani Lo Celso on Sunday as Spurs were left without a real attacking midfielder in the squad.  Moura has been the midweek warrior most of the season, although he was not started against Liverpool last week. As streaky a footballer as you will ever find, with the need for Spurs to get some other players going in attack besides Kane and Son, Moura gets that chance.

Carlos Vinicius (ST)

Speaking of getting other people scoring besides Kane and Son; Tottenham Hotspur need Carlos Vinicius to be one of those people. Vinicius was starting to look good in Europa League and then has not been seen in the Premier League, despite the team chasing the last two weeks. A good target with an eye for the pass, Spurs need Vinicius back in the goals.

Steven Bergwijn (LW)

Steven Bergwijn took a load of criticism following a couple big misses against Liverpool. However, after not playing at all against Leicester City, it was obvious Spurs were missing something. Bergwijn brings a motor on both ends of the pitch that compliments either Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son well in a rotation on the flanks. In this case is it Moura as Spurs look to get out and run off the target man in the middle Vinicius.
