Tottenham Bench

The Tottenham bench is a mixed bag as Spurs need cover and the ability to go more offensive or defensive depending on how José Mourinho feels about the match. We know unless he is injured Joe Hart seems to be the number 2 and will be there. Additionally, Toby Alderweireld is on the bench, just in case along with Ben Davies for defensive cover.

After three games in eight days and 90 full minutes Thursday, Giovani Lo Celso is on the bench, but still in the side as he is just too hot now to leave out. Lo Celso is the only real ‘midfield’ cover as the other three on the bench are Gareth Bale, Carlos Vinicius, and the closer Lucas Moura.

The game should be more open, but that does not mean we will see offensive players substituted on, it just depends on how José thinks Spurs can best close the match. Assuming they have a lead. If Tottenham do not, then expect the firepower to come on and maybe some defense to come off as three points and nothing less is acceptable tomorrow afternoon at Selhurst Park.

So, we have a familiar line-up keeping Ndombele and giving Rodon some minutes and Toby some extra time before Anfield. What do you all think, who will Mourinho start against Palace?
