Tottenham Top Three Performers at Current

#3 Hugo Lloris (NR)

Like Eric Dier Hugo Lloris is making his first appearance in our Top 5 for Tottenham this season, but his ranking is certainly deserved. While Lloris has not quite been as busy for Spurs as he was for France against Portugal, the French stopper has made some really big saves for Tottenham this season. Lloris kept out a few big chances from City and then thwarted Chelsea’s only three looks on target. Growing as a vocal leader in good ways, seeing Hugo on form is a great thing for Tottenham Hotspur!

#2 Pierre Højbjerg (NC)

In some respects, it is difficult to not have Pierre Højbjerg as 1A at this point, like we started the season with Son and Harry Kane sharing the top spot. However, Højbjerg has not continued to expand his incredible game the last couple weeks as Harry Kane has. Rather Pierre Højbjerg has taken on an even more defensive role in the victory over Manchester City and draw with Chelsea. Against City he dropped back to add an extra center back and pick-up Kevin De Bruyne as much as possible. Against Chelsea the Dane had a bit more freedom but spent most of the evening in the middle third of the park. Spurs seem to be best when Pierre Højbjerg is deployed box-to-box, but we do understand that cannot always be the game plan and the Dane’s ability to adapt is just remarkable.

#1 Harry Kane (NC)

For the third time in three rankings this season, Harry Kane is in our number 1 spot for Tottenham Hotspur in terms of form. Kane’s form has dipped slightly from his early success. However, in 5 matches in November, Kane still scored 3 goals and had 2 assists. Other than the two times Tottenham have been shutout on the season – opening day versus Everton and Saturday at Chelsea – Harry Kane has scored or assisted in every Spurs Premier League game. Kane had scored or assisted in eight straight prior to Chelsea and will be looking to start a new streak on Saturday against archrival Arsenal. We do not advise betting against it.
