Tottenham Hotspur have had a good season to date, looking to advance on all fronts while sitting atop the Premier League, who has played best for Spurs in the process?

Tottenham Hotspur have returned from the November international break starting a tough stretch of games with great consistency. With three straight shutouts in all competitions, the team is starting to find the grove defensively, which helps compliment a typically potent offense. Among the squad, who are the players currently performing the best?

Top Five Spurs on Form

Bonus Ranking – Heung-Min Son – #6 (-3)

Heung-Min Son started the season on a goal scoring tear for Tottenham with 10 goals in his first 10 matches in all competitions for Spurs this season. However, the South Korean has cooled considerably over the last month. Since the calendar hit November Son has only had 1 goal and 1 assist in 5 appearances for Spurs. Both the goal – against Manchester City – and the assist – sealing the Ludogorets win – were big moments for Spurs and it was good to see Son deliver, even if still not at his best.

#5 – Eric Dier (NR)

Eric Dier has quietly been one of the more consistent performers for Tottenham on the season. We at HotspurHQ were critical of Dier earlier in the season as he seemed to lose focus in a couple of big moments. Probably unfair criticism, but Dier is a big guy and has responded to some early season errors with consistent performances. Dier is unlikely to lead the team in tackles or interceptions, but he does keep the team organized and is rarely out of place. Dier is a big part of why Spurs have three straight shutouts and is our fifth best Spur on form at right now.

#4 Tanguy Ndombele (+2)

Tanguy Ndombele has not accumulated a ton of gaudy statistics at this point in the season, unless you are counting highlight reel dribbling moves. Those dribbling moves and the retained possession that go with them have been a big part of Tottenham’s success on the season. Serving as a critical link-up between the offense and midfield as well as a shield on defense, Ndombele is playing good football and is just fun to watch. His performance at Chelsea had many remember Mousa Dembele in his prime.
