Appreciating Two-End Talisman for Tottenham Hotspur

Kane Takes Tottenham Over Burnley
With the goal line clearance Kane used his understanding of the game to be in the right position to stop the would-be goal. Seeing the ball go over him, Kane did not even waste a jump, he immediately turned away, ran to the goal line, and looked at where the ball should be.
This might seem easy, but it is not, there is so much happening and often when the ball goes by a player in that situation, they simply turn and watch. Heck Matt Doherty was even stationed on the post, some defenders may have even asked themselves if they really needed to get back on the line. Well, yes, the defender did, as Doherty would not have gotten to the ball and Spurs would have at best tied the game leaving a vastly different mood on the team. Instead Kane did the little things to put himself in a position to succeed and then calmly headed the ball away.
Harry Kane did what Harry Kane does and led by example, following the concepts of the game to perfection, and saving Tottenham all at the same time. Less than five minutes later Harry Kane did the same thing on the other end; anticipating and timing his jump exactly right to redirect the ball toward the goal where Heung-Min Son hammered it home, giving Spurs a set piece goal.
This was the same process as before, just for a different result, but both benefited Tottenham who won 1-0. Harry Kane does what he is told on the field, whether it is defend, pass, score. Heck we have even seen Harry Kane take corner kicks if the coach thinks it is best for the team. Luckily for Tottenham we have a coach that can play to his strengths, which are numerous and growing. Together they can help lead Tottenham to new places through consistent football.
