1. Who will start at RB?

The position with the most uncertainty entering the new season is right back. Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a permanent deal with Southampton after a successful loan spell with the South Coast club. We know he won’t be the answer at right back.

Will Serge Aurier stay with Tottenham?

Aurier has been linked with a move to AC Milan this summer. If he does leave, who is the best option to replace him in the starting lineup? There’s no obvious replacement currently in the squad unless Jose Mourinho believes Juan Foyth can be a permanent starter at right back, which is doubtful.

The best option would be to sign someone.

One player to watch is Timothy Castagne from Atalanta. And with the Champions League quarter-finalists set to sign a full-back (and likely replacement), Castagne could be a target for Spurs in the transfer window.

If Tottenham want a homegrown player with Premier League experience, Max Aarons from Norwich could be a player to target. Aarons is only 20 years old and with Norwich being relegated, don’t be surprised if the talented young right back moves on this summer.

No matter who Spurs sign, if Aurier leaves, they need to bring in another right back. Who starts in the first game of the season is anybody’s guess.
