Midfield

Eric Dier 4/10

The curious case of Eric Dier continues. One good pass was offset by a number of needless giveaways. He continually plays laterally, somewhat negatively, and isn’t quick enough to thrive in a match of that nature. Still not nearly good enough from the Englishman, who is probably on one of his last lives at Spurs.

Harry Winks 8/10

Harry Winks enjoyed a strong performance in midfield. He crossed accurately, controlled the tempo and held firm in the centre of the park.

Dele Alli 5/10

Dele Alli created bundles of chances. The problem, however, was his lacklustre finishing. Dele should have scored at least two, probably three. While dangerous, Dele needs to score on those chances to be effective.
