Tottenham HQ’s two Harry’s and Hugo rehash recaps the week’s news from the best club sources around, so let’s dig into the recent happenings.

Danny Rose‘s latest media confessions

Even after his exodus from the club, Danny Rose has yet again taken to the air waves to spill his guts on various complaints, “revelations”, comments and whinges about his time at Tottenham. A few sources covered well his latest media confessions:

The Evening Standard had its obligatory Rose piece, about how detrimental the losses of Kyle Walker and Mousa Dembele were to the club. While I don’t agree with a lot of what Rose has to say, these comments ring especially true, though Tottenham had no choice but to sell Walker.

Cartilage Free Captain tuned in about Rose’s whinge to Mourinho, with the Newcastle man going into details about not being given a chance after the Portuguese came on the scene. Can you hear the world’s smallest violin playing in the background?

If true, I don’t blame Mourinho in the least. Rose had served his purpose and was enduring a decline steeper than the popularity of British politics.

If by now, miraculously, you’re not tired the beans being spilled by a thorny Rose, here’s a short clip from BBC’s @5livesport that will surely quench your thirst:

What signings Tottenham need to be a contender

The Express covers three signings they think Tottenham need to be considered Premier League contenders, a piece that rings of truth.

Who is Terry Dixon?

Football London’s @AlasdairGold takes an in-depth look at former Tottenham prodigy Terry Dixon, who, had it not been for a litany of devastating knee injuries, may have enjoyed a fruitful career partnering Harry Kane up front. If only I hadn’t smoked copious amounts of cigarettes and binge drank like Lindsay Lohan, I might of competed with Lionel Messi for The Ballon d’Or.

In all seriousness, Gold’s piece about Dixon is as emotional as it is compelling.

Latest on Tanganga

Speaking of emotions, The Mirror delves into Japhet Tanganga’s tears of joy when hearing about being selected for his Tottenham début. Recommending a piece by the scandalous Mirror is making me tear up a little, but this piece is worth a read. Speaking of Japhet, the Mail Online was one of many publications to cover his imminent salary increase.

As the topic is youngsters, the Independent pens a cool piece about how Ryan Sessegnon is adapting to life under Jose.

Those are the main headlines from Hotspur Way since the start of the week. Tune in on Sundays for HQ’s weekly edition of Tottenham’s two Harry’s and Hugo rehash, where we apprise you of all the best Spurs pieces from the week that was.
