Midfield

Harry Winks 6.5/10

Industrious and reliable in possession, Harry Winks went about his business as expected. Nothing dazzling but no errors either. Hopefully his impact injury doesn’t keep him out of the lineup. Tottenham can ill-afford another injury to a senior squad member.

Giovani Lo Celso 9/10

By far the best player on the park for Tottenham. Smart with his passes, skillful with the ball at his feet and relentless in his pursuit of the opposition, Lo Celso enjoyed a all-around excellent afternoon. Most surprising is his ability to tackle hard with precision. His tackle in the first half led directly to Dele’s goal.

Erik Lamela 5/10

Akin to his career thus far at Spurs, Erik Lamela endured a bit of a mixed bag this evening. A magnificent rabona cross that almost connected with Lucas Moura at the back half was offset by some unnecessary, and repetitive, giveaways. He almost scored with a first half volley but slapped it at a perfect height for Timothy Krul to save.
