Moura and Aurier shine for Tottenham: Player ratings against Boro

Forwards
Lucas Moura 8.5/10
Tottenham’s man of the match, Lucas Moura took over in the second half. He scored the equalizer and almost bagged the winner. Had it not been for a brilliant save by Tomás Mejías, Lucas would have bagged a deserved brace. Lively, energized and willing to take on defenders, the Brazilian led the way for Mourinho’s men.
Son Heung-Min 5/10
I’m elated to see Son back in the team. At times he looked like he was about to propel into a higher gear but couldn’t quite get there. He made four key passes but couldn’t muster a shot on target. A bit of a mixed bag for the South Korean on his return.
Dele Alli 3/10
I thought Dele was rather poor. He didn’t take the initiative, failed to muster a shot attempt and only made one key pass. A disappointing day from Dele, who cannot afford to disappear while Kane is convalescing.

Erik Lamela 8/10
A fantastic cameo appearance, Erik Lamela helped turn the tide for Tottenham. He almost scored on a dipping shot from the edge of the box and was a thorn in Boro’s s side. Lamela justified his 55th minute introduction, making a statement to Mourinho. He’ll be in contention to start for upcoming matches.
Giovani Lo Celso 6/10
Lamela’s compatriot played pretty well without being magnificent. He made the right passes, didn’t concede possession and was stable in the second half.
