4. Davinson Sánchez — Signed August 23, 2017

The Colombian international is destined for great things in the Premier League. Sánchez remains Spurs’ record transfer, with the club splashing out £42 million for his services. It was money well spent. He made 32 appearances in his first season with the club, of which Spurs lost only four matches.

The beast of an athlete is still prone to a mistake every so often, but is assuredly the backbone of Spurs’ rearguard for years to come. He made 22 appearances in 2018-19 and scored his first goal for the club.
