7. Lucas Moura — Signed Jan. 31, 2018

Another of Spurs’ standout Champions League performers, Lucas Moura really came into his own on Europe’s biggest stage. The 26 year old’s hat trick heroics against Ajax cemented his legendary status at the club.

Besides his otherworldly Champions League campaign, Moura has endured a bit of a mixed bag since arriving from PSG in January 2018. It took some time to adapt to English football, but signs of his increasing comfort shone through against Huddersfield, when Moura scored his first hat trick for the club.

It seems the speedy, shifty midfielder has overcome the initial teething pains, and is on course to make an even bigger splash in 2019-20. His efforts should be rewarded with more first team football this season, so hopefully he can exceed the lofty expectations he has created.
