10. Juan Foyth — Signed August 30, 2017

Signed from Estudiantes on a five-year deal, Juan Foyth was Pochettino’s brainchild. Foyth was a wee pup when he was plucked from his homeland almost two years ago. The 21-year-old Argentine has markedly improved since moving to England, making 12 appearances in the Premier League last season.

His début against Wolves in November was one to forget, with the defender conceding two penalties on a pair of mistakes that were caused by a clear case of nerves and inexperience. Only a week later he made a marvellous recovery, settling into the team by scoring the winner, his first Premier League goal, against Crystal Palace.

While he has made clear strides with Spurs, Foyth needs more time to gain strength, as he is easily dominated by the physical prowess of opposing attackers. His market value has increased by £2 million since joining Tottenham.
