2. Julian Brandt

The 23-year-old German popped up on Spurs’ radar recently. He’s strong, quick and can attack from either wing. Recent reports have stated that Brandt might prefer to stay in the Bundesliga, with Borussia Dortmund the potential winner in his sweepstakes.

He is a player that would considerably improve Spurs’ attacking prowess from either byline, and is still about five years away from his prime.  His weaknesses, as evaluated by WhoScored, are few and far between: defensive contribution, finishing and tackling.

Admittedly he’s a bit raw in terms of finishing, but the man certainly has the ability to frighten opposing defences. Brandt has an uncanny ability to find an improbable pass, oftentimes unlocking defences in an instant, with one penetrating pass.
