Harry Kane – 8

Kane was uncharacteristically tame in this match. Still, there were many bright spots for him. He kept possession strongly and shared the ball well around the box. He even blocked a close-range shot from Aaron Lennon. His passing wasn’t the best, which led to a few turnovers. His greatest contribution was when he laid off the ball to Eriksen who put it in the net. Kane could have gotten another assist if Sissoko wasn’t so trigger-shy.

Lucas Moura – 6

Moura was could’ve scored a couple times but just couldn’t capitalize. You almost felt for him as his tasteful shot from a Lamela volley narrowly missed. There were other opportunities for shots that he didn’t take. His dribbling was fantastic, though. It was a real challenge for defenders to keep him at bay.

Eric Lamela – 7

The Argentine’s support play for Tottenham was inspired. His two chips to Moura into the box were perfectly placed and could have easily gotten him assists. He made a dangerous corner kick and a couple of nice crosses. His capitalization was sub-par. He made 3 shots- one was wildly over the crossbar, one was very weak, and one was quite good and was barely stopped by Joe Hart. Lamela was also beastly as he continuously pressed Burnley players who had the ball.

Heung-Min Son – 6

The Korean had a short match but did the best with what he could. His best chance was a pass from Llorente. Son shot from a nearly impossible angle but took it very well. He never let the Burnley defense rest and was always a threat. He did manage to be offside in his short time on the field.

Fernando Llorente – 6

Like Son, Llorente came on very late in the game. Speaking of Son, if he was accurate in his shot by a few more inches Llorente would have gotten an assist. Llorente controlled Trippier’s strong pass and chested towards Son, setting up the shot. Still, he probably could have been a bit more involved.
