Tottenham Falls Flat versus Liverpool

The Formation

Let’s be frank up front, Mauricio Pochettino has far from his fully fit squad at his disposal at this point in the season. We knew Dele, Hugo Lloris, and Mousa Sissoko would be out. Given his last minutes on the pitch it is not surprising Fernando Llorente wasn’t part of the team, and we knew Son would be limited and Lamela is coming off yet another ailment.

So, the squad is not full at the moment for selection and Poch seems determined not to try to re-integrate some members of the squad, Georges Kevin-Nkoudou I’m staring at you. This leaves our team even shorter given the lack of any summer signings. With this context in mind, let’s look at the team and set-up.
