CM: Christian Eriksen
A centre midfield partnership of Modric and Eriksen? Now that’s a combination and a half. Although Eriksen’s place wasn’t always guaranteed in this XI, his performances this season have pushed him right into the mix of it.

Rafael Van Der Vaart was close to taking the role off of Eriksen, and the little Dutchman deserved a mention for sure. However, Eriksen has proved this season and last that he is on the level that Modric was if not better when he was playing for us.

The screamer against Chelsea last week all but solidified Eriksen’s position as Modric’ partner in the crime.
