Five reasons why Tottenham can win the Champions League
By Gary Pearson
1. Harry Kane
Harry Kane’s appetite for goals can only be equated to a vampire’s insatiable thirst for blood. And there’s only one thing Kane desires more than scoring goals: and that’s winning trophies. The 24-year-old has made it clear that nothing, not even toppling individual records at an alarming rate, is as important as filling his cabinet with team trophies.
He is the difference maker, the atomic bomb that can annihilate an opponent when all else fails. Kane is Tottenham’s failsafe, a winner with a champion’s mindset. The deadly assassin cannot be silenced or distracted; he won’t be deterred or derailed; and, topping it all off, Kane – like any transcendent athlete at the pinnacle of his or her sport, won’t be denied or defeated.
