We’re getting into the heart of the offseason, and while there’s no on-field product to chat about, there’s always interesting topics to discuss on Twitter.

Two year Trippier signing anniversary

Spurs signed Kieran Trippier from Burnley on June 19, 2015. A lot has happened since Trippier arrived in north London, especially for the 26-year-old right back, who made his full international debut in a 3-2 loss to France last week. If he can continually progress under Mauricio Pochettino’s leadership and guidance, the only way for Trippier is up. Happy anniversary Kieran.

Leaked new kit

Tottenham’s purported new kit has been leaked on social media more times than Kim Kardashian’s enhanced buttocks. We definitely know that Nike is sponsoring Spurs and the kits shown below certainly look the part. It’s a slick, modern-day kit replete with style and functionality.

Harry Kane sketch

We like to give props where props are deserved here at Hotspur HQ, and Amanda from @SpurOnTheGulls deserves plaudits for a wonderful effort to sketch Spurs top scorer Harry Kane. Amanda deserves credit for more than effort alone, as her depiction of Kane strikes some closer similarities to the real article. Although he might be a wee pit prettier in the sketch. Great effort Amanda. How long did it take?

First seats are in

The new stadium cannot be erected fast enough if you ask any Spurs fan. But we’re on our way as the first rows of seats have been placed and firmly cemented in the new ground. Tottenham aren’t particularly looking forward to using Wembley as their home ground in the 2017-18 season but we take consolation knowing progress is being made at the new facility. And by the look of things, construction is ongoing at a near world record pace, as we all know how many delays often affect sites in England.

Arsenal cast adrift

If there’s a chance to take a dig at Arsenal, we won’t disappoint. If you’ve been stuck under a rock or have been living in a cave for the last two months, you might not know that Arsenal isn’t competing in the Champions League during the upcoming season. Sean Culley ingeniously messaged Sky Bet, asking why he can’t find futures odds for the Gunners Champions League campaign. Classic banter, Sean. And thanks for the tweet Mark.
