Christian Eriksen – 5/5

Christian Eriksen bailed his team out by scoring a stunner from long range in the 78th minute. Nothing else about his performance bears any significance. That moment alone is worth a perfect match rating. The dashing Dane saved Spurs title hopes. Enough said.

Harry Kane – 3.5/5

Harry Kane, who had the least touches of any Spurs player, struggled mightily in the first half. He recovered well in the second stanza, forcing Wayne Hennessey into a basic save from a header. He set up Eriksen on the winning goal, but can’t take too much credit for playing a part in the goal as it was entirely down to the Dane’s individual heroics.

Dele Alli – 3.5/5

Much like Harry Kane, Dele Alli was average in comparison to what he usually offers. Alli had one shot on target but was otherwise silenced by a stout, stoic Palace defence. On one of Walker’s only good crosses, Dele got too much contact on his volley, agonizingly knocking it back across goal. He looked to the heavens, knowing it was a glorious chance missed.
