Hugo Lloris – 4.5/5

It’s hard to find fault in Hugo Lloris’ performance against Palace, particularly considering the French international barely had to lift a finger. He made one rudimentary save all evening and distributed the ball comfortably. Most importantly he kept yet another clean sheet, his third in a row.

Jan Vertonghen – 3.5/5

Jan Vertonghen had a bit of an inconsistent day at the office. He uncharacteristically shied away from an aerial challenge on a Palace free kick in the 37th minute and turned the ball over a few times. He did, however, help keep Palace to one measly shot on target.

Toby Alderweireld – 4/5

Solid as usual, Toby Alderweireld had a comfortable evening under the bright lights. He had one wild attempted shot in the first half and was a more wasteful in possession than usual, but shut the door when called upon. Spurs center backs completely silenced Christian Benteke, which is no easy task.

Eric Dier – 4.5/5

Eric Dier was excellent in every aspect, including shifting the ball quickly – and accurately – from defence to attack. He completed 90 percent of his passes and was dangerous from set pieces, too. His 73rd minute header from a corner didn’t miss by much.
