More moves ahoy?

Njie isn’t the only Tottenham player who might be on his way out. Pochettino also declined to take Nabil Bentaleb, Alex Pritchard and Federico Fazio with him to Australia, suggesting that they too might be departing the club before the transfer window closes.

Fazio’s likely move is the least surprising. The Argentine centre-back spent the latter half of last season on loan with Sevilla after more or less being exiled from the first team, and is expected to return to La Liga.

Bentaleb and Pritchard, however, might still have futures with Tottenham. Both have plenty of experience relative to their age, though neither have a good chance of breaking into the first team next season. Loan moves might be the more likely outcome here, though it remains a mystery where either player will end up. Bentaleb’s been linked to Benfica, while Pritchard might be tempted by a move back to the Championship to reclaim some of the buzz he earned playing for Brentford in 2014/15.
