Included among a surprisingly strong squad, Tottenham backup centre-back Kevin Wimmer could expect to get some minutes for the Austrian team in this summer’s Euros.

The formed FC Koln man has thus far only received three caps for his come country, but his wonderful stint covering for the injury Jan Vertonghen in the latter half of the Premier League season should convince just about everyone that Wimmer is ready for a stage as big as the Euros.

He will need to overcome several most established Austrian veterans, but seeing as how few of their centre-back options have been proven at a Premier League or equivalent level, it seems possible that Wimmer makes an impression.
