Harry Kane at just 22-years-old has become one of Tottenham Hotspur’s best players. As Spurs’ star striker, Kane is one of the up-and-coming players in European football since having a breakout season last term.

During any home game at White Hart Lane, there’s a familiar song that echos throughout the stadium. A sellout crowd of just over 36,000-plus supporters who are all chanting the name of one player. Tottenham’s star striker — Harry Kane.

Of course, Arsenal supporters will have you believe that Harry Kane isn’t Tottenham’s own, because Spurs weren’t Kane’s first Premier League club that he signed at a young age. Instead, as the story goes, Harry Kane would join Arsenal — or the dark side if you will — as an 8-year-old. Gunners fans will all poke fun of this to no end and while it’s true it’s also something that they should, you know, perhaps let go of? Harry Kane is and forever will be with Tottenham, not Arsenal.

Because funnily enough, Arsenal decided to release Harry Kane rather quickly. And the thoughts of “he wasn’t cut out to make it at our academy anyways!” is a poor excuse. If Kane couldn’t climb up Arsenal’s youth ranks but did so with Tottenham then what does that say about Arsenal’s academy than Spurs’? Obviously a player who is only 8 doesn’t have all the tools to succeed just yet. A club’s academy has to be patient to let young kids develop. This is something that the Gunners failed at on their part.

So today as a very special Christmas featured article, Hotspur HQ will try its best to cover a story of how Harry Kane got to where he is today as one of the best strikers in the world. You’ll get to see Kane’s career from his early beginnings, to his four loan spells, his breakout season with Tottenham last term and what to expect from Harry Kane in the future.
