Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Kevin Wimmer, Ben Davies – Ben Davies comes on for the injured Danny Rose and should do well against Anderlecht’s tendency to work out wide in attack.

Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen should be given rests ahead of the clash against Arsenal. Of the two players taking their place should they be left out, Trippier is the bigger concern. His positioning against Anderlecht the last time out was too advanced and he lacks Walker’s speed to make up for that space behind him when the opposition launches counterattacks down the defensive right. Wimmer has been a competent understudy to Vertonghen in the two matches he’s played this season even if he’s not been spectacular.
