“Okay thank you so much. I’m very happy because we won and we get three points. And I think we deserved a win.”
“We went 1-0 down and it’s difficult against Manchester City isn’t it? But we came back strong didn’t we Érik?”
“Yeah I agree, we concede the goal and we know it was tough to play so I think we deserved to win because we showed it. We showed character to change the results.”
“The second half performance was as good as it gets Érik. What was it like to play out there?”
“I think the team played very good. We were all the time aggressive during the game and I’m happy because this team worked very hard during the week to find our best in the weekend.”
“Now you’re goal, everyone was telling you ‘Shoot Érik! Shoot Érik! Shoot Érik! and you got it there in the end.”
“Yeah [laughs] I stopped a little bit more but I’m happy because the ball was in the net but I am more happy because we won.”
“How did it feel when the ball hit the net? You ran away, lots of emotion?”
“[laughs] Yeah very tired, it’s emotional I think for us and for me.”
“And the fans are right behind you Érik weren’t they? I mean you ran over to them and they were loving that, yeah they were loving you. “
“Yeah the fans always support me and I can say just thank you for that.”
“And the last question, about your form. I mean this is as good as we’ve seen you play for us. Are you happy where you are at the moment? You’re getting better and better and better.”
“Yeah the most important thing is the team and today I go home happy, very happy. Because we changed the results, we showed character and this is the way to arrive in the better moment now.”
