Conversation Corner: Tottenham vs Arsenal
Kevin Wimmer:
“We have Kevin Wimmer. Kevin, your first North London Derby, unfortunately it’s gone against us. What are your thoughts on the game?”
“From the beginning on, it was — the atmosphere was — unbelievable. I’ve never had such a good atmosphere. It was a really tough game, we tried to do our best. I think we had a lot of chances, all in the second half. When we scored the goal, after this, we maybe should have scored the second one. Then of course they scored a very lucky goal. I think it was very lucky with his shot but we have to keep our heads up, and we know that on Saturday that’s the next important game for us. And of course we will try to bring win again, but I think we also had the chance to win. Maybe a bit unlucky for us. But for me personally, the atmosphere was such amazing. I tried to help the team with my performance and hopefully next time when we play against Arsenal in the next derby, hopefully it will be a win.”

“Did you think that whoever would have scored the second goal, was going to win? Because 1-0 down, we came out, we scored, great spell. If we score, then perhaps we win, if they score, they go on to win?”
“I think if we would have scored another goal — the second one — then we would win this game. But it was a very tough game and I know Arsenal, they don’t need a lot of chances to score and they showed us all today. But I think after — in the second half — when the second half started, we really played very well. We tried to make high pressure and score the equalizer and after this maybe we weren’t that lucky that we scored another time. But I think the performance was okay, but with the second goal we conceded, was not good, should not happen, but I think on Saturday we have the chance to make it better.”
