Final Thoughts:

Tottenham played a would-be “perfect” game versus Crystal Palace this past Sunday even after coming off of a Europa League match just three days prior on Thursday. Spurs dominated two important categories (possession and shots on target) that led to their win over Palace. The team’s momentum continues to grow and up next is an early North London Derby between bitter rivals, Arsenal.

A rotated side wouldn’t be surprising and should actually be encouraged, because right after, Tottenham has to face the league leaders in Manchester City. The Capital One Cup is the lowest tournament on the totem pole, but Spurs did reach the final last season. Should they want to get back there again this year and beat Arsenal in the process then a couple of starters may start this game.
