Final Thoughts:

With Tottenham’s first win of the 2015-16 Premier League season, this should hopefully carry on to the next game on their schedule — a Europa League Group stage match against FK Qarabag. Although Tottenham will be facing, what should be a lesser opponent, it’ll be a difficult game still. Most likely Mauricio Pochettino is going to rest a majority of his starters and let the backups and reserves have ample amounts of playing time.

Once Thursday’s Europa League fixture is over, their next task is to face another in-form team, with Crystal Palace making the trip to White Hart Lane. Two consecutive clean sheets, the defense improving some more with the double pivot of Eric Dier and Ryan Mason making up for the supposed lack of a “true” holding midfielder from the transfer window and offensive players helping out at key positions: Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli. There should be no reason why Tottenham can’t continue it’s climb up the league table.

As soon as Christian Eriksen and Mousa Dembélé returns to the starting eleven, plus Clinton N’jie getting incorporated into the lineup as well and Harry Kane rediscovers his goal scoring ways. Tottenham will be a dangerous team that will be difficult to contend with. The only thing that will hurt Spurs are more injuries, a loss of form and silly errors — three things that all nineteen other Premier League clubs tend to suffer. But something that Tottenham have done consecutively for four straight games until a win at the Stadium of Light against Sunderland.
