“Mauricio is here, 1-0 win, what were your feelings on the game?”

“Well I think; very pleased with the effort, our players were fantastic today. First half was open — open game for both sides. Difficult to play, but second half we dominate, we solved some problems, and after I think we dominate completely the game and we fully decide the victory.”

“We got better and stronger as the game wore on, didn’t we?”

“Yes a second clean sheet is very important for us. Our confidence, trust; felt victory always is important. After five games, I think that we are in a good position and very happy, very pleased. Because you know, always, the season is difficult — and keep working and today was fantastic. And the goal we scored was fantastic because it showed how we want to play.”

“Want to ask you about the goal, it had many passes and a good finish by Ryan wasn’t it?”

“Yeah a fantastic goal, collective goal. This is the way that we want to play, but only we need time to develop. Because we are a very young squad, but only time, only time. Keep working, this is — I think — our real skill, because we deserve more in the last few games and victory doesn’t arrive. But when you keep working, and you’re mentality is right, then the victory will make its way. “

“When it was 0-0, eighty minutes in. Did you think ‘Oh no, not again, we got to win this game’?”

“Mmm, no we work hard in the last ten, fifteen minutes. We have full energy, before that there are times we push a lot and they play in training ground. It’s because in football, sometimes you need your energy in the last ten, twelve, fifteen minutes and for that it’s not easy, you need to work hard in the training ground.”

“On Ryan, he’s told us he wants to score more goals and that was perfect today wasn’t it?”

“Yeah, fantastic performance. I think the goal was fantastic, unlucky on the injury, but we hope that it is not a big problem and he can stay with us quick.”

“It’s a problem with his knee isn’t it?”

“It’s his knee, but not bad. We need to assess tomorrow.”

“Mauricio, well done.”

“Thank you.”
