Starting the latest transfer deadline day rumor is the signing — or soon to be — of Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato. This tops the current list solely because it could be close to being finalized. A club wouldn’t send a delegation to a different part of the world, in this case, Sao Paulo, Brazil to a conduct a meeting with a team and the player if a deal wasn’t on the table.
