Who should Tottenham sign?

If Mauricio Pochettino wants Premier League experience, then Kevin Mirallas and Yannick Bolasie both offer that. Mirallas would only better Bolasie by an extra year, as Crystal Palace were playing in the Championship during the 2012-13 season when the Belgian signed with Everton.

In terms of a fair amount of money to spend on, once again Kevin Mirallas would be the best option. Taking his age into account (27), plus an injury in the past three years — which weren’t that serious — he wouldn’t have much resale value if Tottenham decides to move on. Currently Everton might be looking at this right now, £7 million might be the best offer that they’ll get from any club.

With regards to the other two options: Xherdan Shaqiri and Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Swiss international is an enigma as he has all the talent to be good but could suffer a down year if he joined any  Premier League club due to no prior experience. The same could obviously be said for the Ukrainian winger, as he too has no Premier League experience. What he does have though is a solid resume and has the talent right now that it should translate to any of the top leagues in Europe.

Should Tottenham pick any one of these wingers, Kevin Mirallas might be the best choice due to the current Belgian influence in the club. There’s a good chance that all four players will have their own input and help Pochettino make a decision.

If a transfer is complete for Kevin Mirallas, then Vertonghen, Dembélé, Chadli and Alderweireld would help ease their fellow compatriot into Mauricio Pochettino’s high-press offense during the pre-season and eventually in the regular season.
