Tottenham’s Incoming Academy Players
Final Thoughts:
All of these youth academy players will one day feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
Whether that’s as soon as next season or within a few years, Tottenham and their supporters know that their are promising young players throughout the Academy. None more prevalent than at two positions that are slowly becoming the strength of their squad — midfield and center back.
Given that some of these players can play multiple positions, Mauricio Pochettino should use this to his advantage and feature a starting eleven that will feature Alex Pritchard and Christian Eriksen on the same pitch.

If any of these players has a chance of cracking into next year’s squad, the most likely would be Alex Pritchard due to the amazing year he had with Brentford in the Championship. The next player to follow him would be Tom Carroll based on what he’s shown when given playing time in Tottenham’s post-season tour.
Also, along with being a good right back, DeAndre Yedlin is showing that he can play up field even as a right winger which should help form an opinion on what to do with both him and Kyle Walker.
Lastly, while Dele Alli looks ready to start very soon, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on loan once again with MK Dons or another club to give him more experience.
These are Tottenham’s best and most promising youths. A number of them will play with the first team while some will be on loan. The future is bright for Tottenham.
