Jasper Cillessen (26) – Ajax
Jasper Cillessen was the first option to replace Hugo Lloris.
He’s started the majority of the Eredivisie this past season, and while his goals conceded is a lot in all competitions there’s still something to like about him.
In the three clubs he’s played for as a starter: Ajax U-21s, Nec Nijmegen, and Ajax. The amount of games has increased from 24 games to 35 games up to 93 games.
He’s been a four year starter at Ajax since 2011 and he’s only 26-years old, meaning he was named a starter when he was only 22. That kind of track record speaks for itself.
To also be a part of the Europa League and even the Champions League at such a young age means he’s a proven player.
By all accounts, Jasper Cillessen wouldn’t be a bad pickup.
