Spurs TV: Érik Lamela is here at Vicarage Road. Érik, 2-1 win against Watford and that is what you call a real battle.

Érik Lamela: Yeah yeah. We are happy because we won and we played a good game. When we manage the ball, we create a lot of chances and I think we deserved to win.

STV: Your goal started everything off, tell us about it?

ÉL: I don’t know where they were going with the ball in the middle. And I went straight to the ‘keeper and at the end I decided to shoot and I score.

STV: Watford fought very hard, didn’t they? It was a tough game for us even after the sending off, when they had 10 men. They still made it very hard for us didn’t they?

ÉL: Yeah yeah. We know that Watford is a difficult game. But every team I think is difficult to play here on this pitch. It’s a difficult game. But we won and these three points are very important for us.

STV: How did it feel when Sonny scored the winner?

ÉL: I am happy for him because it’s an important goal. And because he’s a good guy and he deserved.

STV: We played two games in two days. We’ve won both. How important are these points for us Érik?

ÉL: Yes it’s really important for us in two days, six points. So we are better in the position but we need to keep working and think about the next game.

Up next, we have Kieran Trippier who was making his first Premier League start for Tottenham. And he happened to have a good day after setting up the game-winning goal for Son Heung-min.
