What more could we possibly say about Ledley King? He was a product of Tottenham’s youth academy, joined the first team at 18-years-old and only left when he didn’t have any knees left to play on. Even with his famous battles with recurring injuries, King still managed to make a lasting impression amongst both Spurs fans and otherwise.

Toward the end, when his knees got particularly bad, he stopped training outright, and the only football he would play would come during the actual matches. He was still one of the better players on the pitch.
