Transfer Fee: £4.5 million
Former club: Sheffield United (Football League Championship)
Years with Spurs: July 22, 2009 — Present
Stats: 172 appearances, 4 goals, 12 assists (in all competitions, thus far)

Kyle Walker is the longest serving member of today’s Tottenham starting XI for good reason. He is everything the club has ever needed in a right-back: excellent on defense and an impressive contributor in attack.

When he was brought to the club from Sheffield United along with Kyle Naughton, it was hard to envision Walker becoming the Spurs veteran he is today. Three consecutive successful loan stints inside and outside the Premier League helped changed that, however, and now he’s among the more reliable cogs in the Tottenham machine.
