Tottenham Hotspur legends will be hosting a charity football match on July 10th.

In 12 days, happening on the same day as the European Championship finals, legends of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will be hosting a charity football match against The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre Enfield.

The venue will be at the New River Sport and Fitness, located at White Hart Lane in Tottenham, London, N22 5QW.

Because this is a fundraising charity match, proceeds will go into supporting patients who are affected with cancer.

The Nightingale Cancer Support is a place to discuss your situation (illness) with people who are understanding and will do their best to help you. More or less, it’s a support system for people to go and get some advice, counseling and practical solutions.

Here’s the statement from their official website:

"“The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre was launched in 2002 to help residents in the borough of Enfield whose lives have been touched by cancer and who were somehow slipping through the established care system.”“The Nightingale was formed by a local group of concerned individuals who felt that more could be done to support people affected by cancer in Enfield. We aim to work together with existing local services to ensure that we provide comprehensive support.”"

For Tottenham supporters who want to take part in this event instead of watching the match (more info below), it’s possible to actually play alongside the legends as there is one spot available.

Per Haringey’s link which details Tottenham’s charity match, one lucky fan will be able to play as a legend — as in, on a team full of legends. The only catch is that this is a silent auction with the highest bidder winning.

In order to apply, applicants must be 28 years or older and must be able to play at least 15 minutes of football (not sure if this is how long the game will actually be). The Nightingale Support Organization is taking bids now it seems, over here: fundraising@nightingalesupport.org.uk

You must email them your name, address, email (not a typo), age and how much you would like to bid in £’s.
