Tottenham are reported to have had an offer for Memphis Depay accepted by PSV Eindhoven, according to media reports in Belgium. They could also be interested in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Yesterday I wrote of media speculation in Holland that Tottenham were interested in signing Memphis Depay and were preparing an offer for the 20-year-old winger who appeared at the World Cup Finals with the Dutch team.
No sooner had I posted that report than further tweets from the same source suggested that there was no interest from Tottenham in Depay.
Reports that Tottenham have bid for Memphis Depay seem false. PSV watcher for ED @RikElfrink reports that there is no concrete interest.

It was all very uncertain and confusing. This afternoon, Dutch Football (@football_oranje) repeated their news story of Tottenham interest in the winger. It was thought that PSV were open to selling Depay to use the transfer fee received to fund transfer targets of their own.
Now, comes the reports from Belgium that PSV Eindhoven have accepted an offer of €19m for Depay with Nacer Chadli going to the Dutch club as part of the transfer.
The inclusion of Nacer Chadli in such a transfer would make sense. As I suggested in an article on Monday, suggestions of Chadli going to Southampton as part of any possible deal for Morgan Schneiderlin seemed, to me, unlikely. It makes more sense for Chadli to return to the Dutch league where he was very successful and highly thought of before last summer’s transfer to Tottenham. There, he would play regularly and revitalise his international career which had suffered while being a bit-part player at White Hart Lane.

While the Mirror is reporting that agreement has been reached, The Guardian suggest that Spurs are considering an offer. The most recent up-date comes in a tweet with a comment fro a PSV director saying that they have not heard from Spurs.
PSV director Marcel Brands in De Telegraaf: "We haven't heard anything from Spurs for Depay. We don't want to sell him."

As well as the possible signing of Memphis Depay, an old Tottenham favourite has been linked with the club.
The Daily Express are suggesting possible Tottenham interest in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. He has only a year of his contract with Schalke 04 to run and talks over a new one have stalled. Spurs and Liverpool could renew previous interest in the 30-year-old striker.
Tottenham have been linked with the Dutch striker over many transfer windows and who do Tottenham play on Saturday in their last pre-season friendly? – FC Schalke 04.
We’ll wait and see what happens with these two possible deals.
