The latest news on Tottenham transfer targets has added some new players to this summer’s list.
The Times is reporting that Tottenham are interested in Zakaria Bakkali, the 19-year-old winger from PSV. He has been with PSV since 2005 and made 22 senior appearance for PSV in 2013-14, scoring 3 goals in his debut season. He played for the Belgium under-age teams and made his international debut last season, playing one match, having opted for Belgium ahead of Morocco. He is also reported to be a target for Liverpool.
Sportiltalia has reported that Tottenham are interested in the Roma striker, Mattia Destro. The 23-year-old striker has been with the Italian club since 2012 and has scored 19 goals in 41 league games. He is an former Under-21 international and has played 5 games for the senior team with 1 goal. He was included in the provisional squad for Euro 2012 and the World Cup in Brazil but didn’t make the squad on either occasion.
The Times report that Tottenham are competing with Bayern Munich for the France midfield player. Antoine Griezmann was linked with Tottenham immediately after the World Cup as one of the French players Spurs could be interested in signing.
Griezmann joined Real Sociedad in 2009 and is reported to have a £24m buy-out clause in his contract. The 23-year-old had 8 French caps and scored 3 goals in friendly matches prior to the World Cup finals.
Ben Davies played for Swansea in the first match of their US tour but The Times have reported that Spurs have renewed their interest in the Wales international left-back in face of competition from Liverpool. The South Wales Evening Post understands that Tottenham have made a second bid of £10m which has been accepted by Swansea.
