First Game Of The Season: Tottenham At West Ham

In the first game of the season Tottenham play West Ham United at Upton Park. The season starts on Saturday, 16th August.

The eagerly awaited announcement of the Premier League fixtures for the 2014-15 season sees Tottenham at Upton Park trying to reverse their three defeats against West Ham last season.. The teams last met on the opening day in  1999-2000 when Spurs lost.

The other early season games in August are home games against Queens’s Park Rangers with the return of Harry Redknapp, and Liverpool. The date for both of these matches will have to be changed to the Sunday as Spurs have to play Europa League games on the Thursday prior to these games.

North London Derby:

Away: 27th September with the home game on 7th February.

Other derby matches:

Chelsea:  (a) 3rd December with the return at White Hart Lane on New Year’s Day.

West Ham United: the return game is set for 21st February.

Queen’s Park Rangers: (a) 28th February

Crystal Palace: (h) 6th December. (a) 10th January

Other Highlights:

Manchester United: (h) 28th December. (a) 14th March

Manchester City: (a) 18th October. (h) 2nd May

Liverpool:  (a) 10th February

Everton: (h) 29th November

Mauricio Pochettino against his former club – Southampton:

(h) 4th October. (a) 25th April

Promoted Clubs:

Leicester City: (a) 26th December (h) 21st March

Burnley: (h) 20th December (a) 4th April

Last day of the Season:

It is a late finish to the Premier League season with the final matches to be played on Sunday, 24th May, 2015. In their last match of the season Tottenham will play Everton at Goodison Park.

The FA Cup Final will be the following Saturday, 30th May.

All of the matches are liable to changes for television and Europa League fixtures.

The release of the fixture list always has supporters looking forward to the new season rather than dwelling on what has passed. The events, the highs and lows of season 2013-14 are officially consigned to history with a new positive approach taken on even though the new season is still over nine weeks away.
