Tim Sherwood was delighted with the win and gave credit to the players for their ‘heart and character’ in the win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. The players and fans were equally elated at the success.Tottenham’s win at Old Trafford was their fourth consecutive away win in the Premier League and their 7th this season. Speaking to @SpursOfficial, Tim Sherwood said,
It’s always tough coming to Old Trafford but I felt if we got our players on the ball in the right areas we’d create chances. We created the best chances in the first half and it’s a shame we only managed to take one, but we stuck to it and scored the second.
He had special mention for the supporters at Old Trafford saying, that the fans were immense and helped the team through the game.
Tim: "I could hear our fans all the time, singing and that lifted the players. I know the lads were really appreciative of that." #THFC
