Didn’t actually make it into the first team but sat on the bench on so many occasions without actually getting a game. Played in the ill-fated Inter-Toto Cup campaign

Full Back:

Edwin HEROD

Was with Spurs from 1929 to the summer of 1931 and made 69 appearances.

Central Defender:

Ledley KING

We 3 Kings from Orient are…. (and there was Arthur, Derek and Edgar as well so we were spoiled for choice)

Central Defender:

Sol CampBELLs

Full Back:

Cyril KNOWELLs

The first Nowell

Right Midfield:

NOEL Brotherston

Made just one League appearance in March, 1976 against Aston Villa. Was a Northern Ireland international.

Central Midfield:

Roy LOW

Away in a manger… the cattle are LOWing. Roy Low was the first player to appear as a substitute for Spurs, against Arsenal in 1965.

Left Midfield:

Leon JOSEPH

An England amateur international, he made a single League appearance for Spurs immediately after the 2nd World War.

Attacking Midfield:

John WHITE
