A goal midway through the second half from Roman Pavlyuchenko secured another win for Spurs against a resilient West Ham side. November, 2005 Draw 1 – 1
Mido had again given Spurs the lead, early in the first half. He got his head to a long ball played forward to head over the goalkeeper who was out too far. Spurs held out until the final seconds of added time when Anton Ferdinand equalised with a header from a corner. Spurs should have had the points won long before that but failed to take their chances and the warning signs as West Ham threatened their goal late on.
