Tottenham have made an impressive start to the 2013-14 season and after 5 matches have 12 points to be 2nd in the Premier League, on goal difference behind Arsenal. Those are just the first of a number of interesting Spurs statistics from the opening weeks of the season.

It has been an impressive start to the season by Spurs and an incredible run by AVB’s team since late last season. Hopefully, we will continue to add to these stats in the week’s ahead and even when faced with adversity in the days, weeks, months ahead we need to remember just how far the club has come in recent seasons. It is form like this that is required ,week in week out, to be in a position to challenge the, as they are now called, “elite” clubs of English football.
