Tottenham have just announced that Nacer Chadli is officially a Spurs player. He has completed his medical and agreed terms and will be available for the friendly in France against Monaco on Saturday week, 3rd August.
The club announced that they had completed negotiations with FC Twente last weekend subject to the medical and personal terms with the player. He they flew out to Hong Kong to meet up with Spurs at the Barclays Asia Cup. He was ineligible for the competition as he had not been registered in time but was involved in training plus the promotional and community work the club has been undertaking as part of the tour.
Comments made by the FC Twente coach heap high praise on Chadli and suggest that Spurs have made an excellent acquisition. Quoted by @Addicted to Spurs on Twitter, the coach said,
“I don’t know what he cannot do. Nacer is creative, strong, fast, great free kick. Everything is beautiful, even his face.”
The winger’s stats for last season are equally impressive as can be seen from this tweet.

Striker Search Over?
The one area which AVB is aware needs strengthening is up front and the club continues to try to resolve that problem with the following tweet suggesting that the matter over Roberto Soldado future may have been resolved, according to a comment attributed to the Valencia Financial director.
