Early Season Changes to Tottenham Matches For Television And Europa League


The televised matches to be shown on SkySports and BT Sport have caused a number of changes to Tottenham’s fixture list for the opening months of the season. the club’s participation in the Europa League means that all three opening games will be played on a Sunday, with further alterations due if they progress to the Group stages of that competition.

Tottenham’s first game of the 2013-14 season at Crystal Palacewill be played on Sunday, 18th August at 1.30pm and will be shown on Sky.

Sunday, 1st September  (4pm)  Arsenal (a)  (Sky)

Sunday, 20th October  (4pm)  Aston Villa (a)  (Sky)

Sunday, 3rd November  (1.30pm)  Everton (a)  (BT Sport)

Sunday, 10th November  (12pm)  Newcastle United (h)  (Sky)

Saturday, 23rd November  (5.30pm)  Manchester City (a)  (Sky)

Saturday, 30th Novembe(12.45pm) Manchester United (h)**  (BT Sport)

[** this match will move to Sunday if Spurs qualify for the group stages of the Europa League]

There is the potential for further changes to Tottenham’s games at Cardiff City in September and the home games against West Ham United, Hull City and Liverpool, if Spurs qualify for the Group stages of the Europa League. These matches would be played on the Sunday afternoon.

First Saturday Home Game

Tottenham’s first Saturday match of the season will be at home to Norwich City on 14th September with a 3pm kick-off.
